The Opportunity
We are seeking a talented and versatile Multi-disciplinary Communications Specialist to join our team. This part-time role is perfect for a proactive individual with a solid background in journalism, public relations, and event management. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and curate engaging content across our various platforms, focusing on our key verticals.
- Assist in the planning, organisation, and execution of industry events, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and relevance.
- Manage public relations efforts, enhancing our brand presence and engagement within the security, space and technology communities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the industry to foster partnerships and sponsorships for events.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and news, ensuring our channels remain at the forefront of the security and technology sectors.
About You
- A passion for new technologies, with a particular interest in our focus areas.
- At least 3 years of experience in journalism, public relations, or event management, ideally within the security or technology sectors.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to create compelling content.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A self-starter attitude, comfortable working independently and as part of a remote team.
- A degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is desirable.
